The Aga Khan Foundation Scholarship program for international students awards on a 50% grants and 50% loan basis. It is offered to students who have no other means of financing their studies.

  • The Aga Khan Foundation scholarships are available in selected countries. These include Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Egypt, India, Kenya, Kyrgyz Republic, Madagascar, Mozambique, Pakistan, Syria, Tajikistan, Tanzania, and Uganda at present.
  • The amount is offered under the Aga Khan Foundation scholarships to study in the US, Canada, France, and Portugal. Students who wish to study in the United Kingdom cannot avail of this scholarship.
  • The foundation primarily supports Master’s level courses but will also consider applications for PhD programs. Short-term courses are not eligible.
