Ambedkar Overseas Vidya Nidhi Scholarship was launched by the Government of Andhra Pradesh to provide financial help to students who belong to scheduled castes and want to study abroad. Under the scheme, you can get an amount of INR 10 lakh on a semester basis. This study abroad scholarship amount can also be used as a margin while taking an education loan. - The selected students will get the scholarship amount in two instalments
- Amount of INR 5 lakh on the production of the immigration card and the remaining amount after the production of the first-semester result.
- Students can also avail of an education loan of INR 5 lakh from a nationalised bank with the coordination of A.P.State Co-Operative Finance Corporation at low rates of interest.
- On producing all the valid documents the student will also get a one-way passage grant (economy class) and a total visa fee.
- The selection will be made as per the order of merit i.e. students who got a minimum percentage of marks in the qualifying examinations, till the target of 300 students per year is achieved.

Students belonging to the SC Community in Andhra Pradesh can apply for Vidya Nidhi Scholarship to study abroad. - Any student whose parental income is less than Rs.6.00 lakhs can apply for the scholarship.
