Eligibility Criteria

- Applicants must hold an Indian passport and be residing in India at the time of application.

For disciplines such as Social Sciences, Humanities, Law, Fine Arts, Architecture, and related subjects, a minimum academic grade of 65%, CGPA 6.8/10, or GPA 2.6/4 from a recognised university or institution is required.
- For disciplines like Mathematics, Sciences, Environment, and related subjects, candidates must have a minimum academic grade of 70%, a CGPA of 7.2/10, or a GPA of 2.8/4 from a recognised university or institution.
- It is mandatory to have prior admission to the chosen institution and course at the time of application. Applications without evidence of admission will not be considered.
- If an English language certification is a conditional part of the offer letter, candidates must attain that certification before applying for the scholarship.
- Candidates who have received a deferred offer of admission must possess a valid offer for the academic year 2024-25 to be eligible for the 2024 scholarships.
- Candidates with a postgraduate qualification (e.g., Master’s or PhD) from an institution abroad are not eligible to apply.
- Those who are already studying or have started their postgraduate education at an institution abroad are also ineligible to apply.
