Selection Process
- Awards are distributed across districts based on eligible applications.
- Applications are open from August 1st to September 30th.
- 33% of scholarships are reserved for women candidates.
- The quota is divided among BC-A, BC-B, and BC-D groups in a 7:10:7 ratio.
Amount of the AP NTR Videshi Vidyadharana Scheme
NTR Videshi Vidyadharana Overseas Scholarship is provided as financial assistance to the students of Backward Classes. One needs to secure a seat for Higher Studies in postgraduate courses in Foreign Universities. The shortlisted candidates will be awarded INR 10 lakhs towards fees and living expenses by way of a grant. Fees shall be payable in two instalments as follows:
- Instalment-I – Upon landing permit/I- 94 card, INR 5 lakhs shall be payable to the students.
- Instalment-II – The second instalment will be after the result of 1st Semester exams.
The awardees are allowed for the earnings from research or teacher assistance.
