Eligibility Criteria of the Prabuddha Scheme
It is mandatory for an applicant to be a permanent resident of Karnataka. Check out the eligibility criteria below before applying for the same.
- An applicant should be a resident of Karnataka.
- He/She should belong to the Scheduled Caste or Scheduled Tribe Category.
- The age limit is 21 Years for Undergraduate Courses.
- 35 years is the age limit for Post Graduate and Doctoral Courses.
- Applicants must have scored a minimum of 80% Marks in the Previous Exam for undergraduate courses.
- Minimum 55% marks are required in Previous Exams for Postgraduate and Doctoral Courses.
- An applicant must have cleared the GRE/ GMAT/ TOEFL/ IELTS.
- Applicants should secure admission to the World’s Top 500 Universities.
Amount of Loan Under the Prabuddha Scheme
The amount of loan granted under the Karnataka Prabuddha Scheme varies according to the income of the family. Below are the details of the amount of loan sanctioned as per the income declaration certificate.

Registration Process of Prabuddha Scheme
