Under this scheme, students belonging to Scheduled Castes (SCs), Scheduled Tribes (STs), Backward Classes (BCs), Minority, and Economically Backward Classes (EBCs) including Kapu students are eligible to apply.
The students who have secured admission into any of the top 200 universities as per the latest QS World University Rankings are eligible to apply for the scholarship. It should be noted that the scholarship covers only Postgraduate and PhD courses and only MBBS courses for undergraduates.
Eligibility Criteria for the Jagananna Videshi Vidya Deevena Scholarship
The following are the eligibility criteria to apply for this scholarship-
- Nativity: The applicant should be a native of Andhra Pradesh.
- Maximum Age: The maximum age of the applicant should be 35 years as of the date of the official public notification of the scheme.
- Family Income: The maximum family income of the applicant shall not exceed INR 8 Lakhs per annum.

Jagananna Videshi Vidya Deevena Scholarship Amount
Students who have secured admission to the top 100 universities as per the QS World University Rankings are eligible for financial assistance of up to 100% of tuition fees. In case of selection in the next in 100 universities/institutions i.e., 101 to 200 ranked universities/institutions are eligible for financial assistance of 50% of tuition fees or INR 50 Lakhs, whichever is less.
