Haryana Government’s Uchch Shiksha Loan Yojana supervised by the Women Development Corporation is an education loan scheme for girls. This scheme aims to help aspiring girls from the financially weaker section of society to pursue higher education in India and abroad. The Uchch Shiksha Loan Yojana under the Haryana Government Education Loan Scheme, offers benefits only to eligible students. The applicants must fulfil the following eligibility criteria-
- All Haryana Domicile and Haryana Govt. Employees Girls are eligible.
- Students must have completed class 12
- Should be a minimum of 18 years of age

The Haryana Backward Classes and Economically Weaker Sections Kalyan Nigam also provides education loans to the members of backward classes in Haryana to pursue professional and technical education at graduate and higher levels. Students under this scheme can avail of education loans of up to INR 10 lakhs to study in India and up to INR 20 lakhs to study abroad. The interest rate is set to 4% p.a and for girls, it is set at 3.5% p.a.

Eligibility Criteria
Like the other government schemes, the Nigam also provides education loans only to eligible students. The students must fulfil the following criteria-
- Students must have completed class 12
- Student must be a resident of Haryana State with the I-card / PPP (Parivar Pehchan Patra)
- Family income should not exceed INR 6 lakhs p.a.
- For the MBBS courses, there will be no income criteria. Anyone who has qualified NEET examination and has secured a seat through open counselling will be eligible.
- Students must have secured admission to professional/technical courses in India or abroad through an entrance test/merit-based selection process.
