The bank levies different types of bank fees and <a href=\"https:\/\/leverageedu.com\/blog\/exchange-rate\/\"><strong>exchange rate charges<\/strong><\/a> on each transaction.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-how-to-make-a-bml-international-transfer\"><span id=\"how-to-make-a-bml-international-transfer\">How to Make a BML International Transfer?<\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The Bank of Maldives allows overseas transfer services through the BML Internet Banking Portal and its Telegraphic Transfer (TT) feature. Here are the instructions to <a href=\"https:\/\/fly.finance\/blog\/money-transfer\/what-is-the-best-way-to-send-money-internationally\/\"><strong>send money internationally<\/strong><\/a> through this financial institution:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-online-international-money-transfer\"><span id=\"online-international-money-transfer\">Online International Money Transfer<\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Listed below are the guidelines for making a BML international transfer online:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Login to your BML Internet Banking account<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Go to the top menu on the portal and select the \u201cContact\u201d tab<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Select \u201cAdd Contact\u201d&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Choose \u201cInternational\u201d from the drop-down menu on the left<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Fill in all the mandatory fields and click on the \u201cAdd Contact\u201d option at the bottom of the page.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>After adding the recipient details, initiate the transfer procedure. Go to the saved contact and select the \u201cTransfer\u201d tab.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Select the USD account in which you want to make an <a href=\"https:\/\/leverageedu.com\/blog\/tax-on-foreign-remittance\/\"><strong>outward remittance<\/strong><\/a>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Choose \u201cPurpose of Payment\u201d from the drop-down menu.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Fill out the mandatory fields, after selecting the payment purpose.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Upload all the requisite documents.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>After filling in the details, select the \u201cReview\u201d tab.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You will receive an \u201cOTP\u201d code on your registered contact number. After adding the details, the Bank of Maldives will send money internationally through its Telegraphic Transfer network.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-transaction-limit\"><span id=\"transaction-limit\">Transaction Limit<\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>There is no limit on international transfer at the Bank of Maldives as long as the sender provides the required information and documents supporting the transfer amount. However, there is a daily transaction limit. A BML account holder can send up to MVR 2,00,000 (INR 10,68,804) within 24 hours.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-processing-time\"><span id=\"processing-time\">Processing Time<\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>As per the convention and norm, a BML international money transfer is completed within 2-3 business days.
